Sensitive data disclosure via unauthenticated staff search
Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Missing authentication in IDAttend IDWeb 3.1.052 and earlier allows remote attackers to extract sensitive student and teacher data via the network. The SearchStudentsStaff method returns student and teacher search results without first establishing an authenticated user identity. Network access to the school-hosted IDWeb service is sufficient; the published impact is read-only disclosure, with no integrity or availability effect.
