Client process crash via trailing-number copy

Out-of-bounds write in NTP 4.2.8p15 allows remote attackers to cause a client ntpq process service interruption via crafted input. The mstolfp function in libntp/mstolfp.c copies a trailing numeric value beyond its destination buffer, producing an out-of-bounds write. The vulnerable path is limited to client ntpq; ntpd does not execute it, and exploitation requires a high-complexity network request.
