SQL injection via direct cid query interpolation
Published May 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in items/index.php in Lost and Found Information System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through cid. The page inserts the cid GET value directly into a quoted category_list id predicate, allowing supplied SQL syntax to change the SELECT query. The public endpoint requires no login, and the published request demonstrates time-based query execution without showing data extraction or modification.
