Tweet-cache deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in AccessPress Themes WP TFeed 1.6.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete the tweet cache. The aptf_delete_cache function accepts a cache-deletion request without verifying a WordPress nonce, so a forged request triggers the state change. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or submit a forged request, and the impact is limited to cached tweets.
