CVE-2023-26492Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal-data exposure via DNS-rebinding file import

Published Mar 3, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025

SSRF in Directus before 9.23.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal server data through the file-import API. FilesService.importOne resolves the supplied hostname for deny-list validation, then axios resolves it again while fetching the URL, so a rebinding domain can switch from an allowed address to an internal one. File-create permission is required; successful requests can import sensitive internal content or probe local ports through the Directus host.
