Improper authorization in Pega Synchronization Engine 3.1.1 through 3.1.27 allows local users to gain administrative access. The client stores its Synchronization Server URL in configuration writable by non-admin users, allowing redirection of the configured endpoint. Exploitation requires non-admin access to an affected desktop and can execute malicious code with administrative privileges.
