Authentication bypass in the USR-G806 1.0.41 Web Management Page allows remote attackers to gain root-level device access. The page accepts the fixed root username and password pair instead of requiring device-unique credentials. Network access to the management interface is sufficient to authenticate to the privileged account and control router settings.
