CVE-2023-26441

Local file disclosure via cache path traversal

Published Aug 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Path traversal in OX App Suite office 8.10 allows attackers on a restricted network with database access to read local files. Cacheservice resolves relative cache-object paths without verifying that the resulting absolute path remains beneath its configured root directory. Exploitation requires database access and local or restricted-network reachability, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the service account.
