Arbitrary code execution via unsafe Java deserialization
Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code injection in Open-Xchange OX App Suite office 7.10.6-rev7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The documentconverterws API deserializes attacker-supplied Java objects without restricting classes, enabling gadget code during request processing. The endpoint is limited to local networks by default, but access requires no application account and successful exploitation runs code in the document conversion service.
