Improper access control in Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.001.20093 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass security restrictions. The AnnotsString object permits uncontrolled modification of object-prototype attributes, enabling prototype pollution that bypasses API restrictions. A victim must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; chaining the bypass with another flaw executes code in the current process.
