Arbitrary code execution via uninitialized PSD parser memory
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Code execution in Adobe Photoshop 23.5.5 and earlier and 24.7 and earlier allows attackers to run code when a user opens a malicious PSD file. The PSD parser accesses memory before properly initializing it, allowing attacker-controlled file data to influence execution. Opening the crafted file is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
