Path traversal in Adobe ColdFusion 2018 through Update 15 and 2021 through Update 5 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. Adobe has not published the affected request handler or explained how attacker-controlled path elements escape the intended directory. Reaching the file-read behavior requires ColdFusion Administrator privileges; no user interaction is required, and the reported impact is limited to file confidentiality.
