CVE-2023-26317Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unfiltered upstream responses

Published Aug 2, 2023 · Updated Oct 16, 2024

OS command injection in Xiaomi Router Firmware 2023.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through upstream response control. The external request interface passes inadequately filtered responses from an ISP or upstream router into an operating-system command. Exploitation requires hijacking the ISP or an upper-layer router and grants control of the router, including limited data access and service impact.
