CVE-2023-26315Network attack vector

Root command execution via unfiltered authenticated input

Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2024

OS command injection in Xiaomi Mi Router AX9000 firmware 1.0.0 through 1.0.168 allows remote authenticated users to gain root access. An authenticated code path passes attacker-controlled input into an operating-system command without filtering; Xiaomi does not disclose the affected endpoint or function. Successful exploitation executes commands with root privileges and can alter or interrupt the router; authenticated administrative access is required.
