Service interruption via malformed client data
Published May 5, 2023 · Updated Jan 29, 2025
Denial of service in the IBM MQ Server component in IBM MQ 9.2 CD, 9.2 LTS, 9.3 CD, and 9.3 LTS allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The server mishandles invalid data received from a compromised client, but IBM has not disclosed the responsible parser or faulty operation. Network access to the MQ Server and crafted client data are required; the documented consequence is interruption of the MQ service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
