CVE-2023-26284Network attack vector

Cluster-user administrative escalation via missing IAM checks

Published Mar 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025

Authorization bypass in IBM MQ Certified Container allows remote authenticated users to gain MQ Console administrator access. In affected 9.3.0.1 through 9.3.0.3 and 9.3.1.0 through 9.3.1.1 releases, the integration image grants every cluster-authenticated user console administration without checking IAM access rights. A valid cluster account and an enabled MQ Console are required; successful exploitation permits administrative console actions against the queue manager.
