CVE-2023-26262Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via language file upload

Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Sitecore XP/XM 10.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on the CM server. The Import Languages workflow accepts ASPX or other arbitrary files through FileBrowser.aspx and Upload2.aspx without restricting dangerous types. Valid Sitecore credentials and access to that workflow are required; an uploaded file is reachable under /temp and executes commands on the CM server.
