Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked filename path
Published Feb 28, 2023 · Updated Mar 18, 2025
Path traversal in STAGIL Navigation for Jira before 2.0.52 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files without authentication. The snjCustomDesignConfig endpoint uses the fileName parameter as a filesystem path without validating or restricting traversal sequences. A crafted HTTP GET request can retrieve known-path files, including configuration data, credentials, logs, and operating system files.
