Local privilege escalation in WatchGuard EPDR before 8.00.22.0010 allows local users to gain elevated privileges on Windows endpoints. The protection agent accepts crafted parameters delivered through interprocess messages on a named pipe without adequately enforcing privilege boundaries. Local access and low privileges are required; successful exploitation grants control with the protection agent's elevated rights.
