Service invocation via stored cross-site scripting
Published Oct 10, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Stored XSS in the Spotfire Library in TIBCO Spotfire Analyst and Server allows remote authenticated users to invoke services as another user. TIBCO identifies the Library as the affected component but has not disclosed which stored field accepts or later renders untrusted script content. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access and interaction by another user; the script can invoke web services with that user's privileges.
