CVE-2023-26219

EMS credential exposure through component logs

Published Oct 24, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024

Credential exposure in TIBCO Hawk components through 6.2.2 allows attackers with log access to obtain associated EMS credentials. The Hawk Console and Hawk Agent logs expose credentials used to access EMS servers; TIBCO has not disclosed the responsible code path or log event. Log access is required, and the credentials permit EMS message-stream access or, in the worst case, administrative EMS access; affected releases also include Hawk RedTail 7.2.1 and earlier, Runtime Agent 5.12.2 and earlier, and Hawk Distribution for Silver Fabric 6.2.2 and earlier.
