Root command execution via crafted df arguments

OS command injection in Fortinet FortiADC and FortiADC Manager allows local users to execute arbitrary shell code as root through the CLI. The diagnose system df CLI command fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in crafted arguments before invoking an operating-system command. An authenticated CLI session is required; successful exploitation grants root-level command execution on the appliance or manager.
