Stored script execution via unencoded static-route fields
Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Pimcore before 10.5.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. Staticroute setters stored route text without HTML encoding, and the administration grid and delete-confirmation dialog rendered those values. A low-privileged authenticated attacker must save a crafted route field and persuade another user to view the panel, exposing browser-accessible data and page content.
