Session theft via unencoded custom report names
Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Stored DOM cross-site scripting in Pimcore before 10.5.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. Custom report add, clone, and update actions accepted names without character validation, and panel.js inserted record.data.text into a deletion confirmation without HTML encoding. A user with reports_config permission must create a crafted report name and induce another user to open its deletion prompt, enabling page changes, redirects, or session-cookie theft.
