Prototype pollution in underscore-keypath 0.0.11 and later allows attackers to alter Object prototypes through crafted key paths. The setProperty() path setter accepts proto in its name argument and follows that magic property before assigning attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled path data; polluted inherited properties can crash the process or alter application logic.
