Memory corruption via unvalidated 5G reserved options

Intra-object overflow in Samsung Exynos chipsets allows attackers to corrupt modem memory through crafted 5G SM reserved options. The NrSmPcoCodec decoder processes the Extended protocol configuration options information element without sufficient parameter validation, permitting data to overrun an object boundary. Exploitation requires either a malicious mobile network operator or local access to an affected device; public sources do not establish code execution or a specific crash outcome.
