Database disclosure via unprepared orderby and order parameters
Published Jun 9, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in MPG 3.3.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract sensitive database information. The ProjectsListManage controller incorporates the orderby and order parameters into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Administrator access to WordPress is required; successful exploitation permits sensitive database extraction through timing responses.
