Stored script execution via unvalidated scheduled task
Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
Stored XSS in Nokia NetAct before 22 FP2211 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through scheduled searches. The Working Set Manager fails to validate script input when creating a scheduled task on the Alarm Reports Dashboard's Scheduled Search tab. Exploitation requires an internal user's session identifier and dynamically generated CSRF and Nxsrf tokens, and the injected script runs when another user views the stored content.
