Cache deletion via forged administrator request
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in My YouTube Channel 3.23.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete cached data via a forged request. The clear_all_cache function accepts a state-changing request without valid nonce verification and clears the plugin's cached YouTube data. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with an attacker-controlled link or page; the documented consequence is cache deletion only.
