Reflected script execution via unsafe search splitting
Published May 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Catch Themes Darcie 1.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a crafted search request. The search page applies JavaScript split processing to request-derived text without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-supplied page, after which the script runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
