Database query manipulation via drop_services SQL injection
Published May 9, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Billing Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter queries through drop_services. The POST handler in ajax_service.php fails to neutralize SQL syntax in that parameter, allowing UNION and Boolean expressions to change the executed query. A valid low-privilege session is required, and exploitation can read or change database data and interrupt database-backed functions.
