Improper input validation in WebSEAL in IBM Security Verify Access 10.0.0 through 10.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to crash webseald. The webseald process accepts a specially crafted HTTP request and terminates, but IBM has not disclosed the affected parser, field, or rejected validation rule. A network-reachable authenticated session is required, and exploitation interrupts access while the process is down without a reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
