Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in HGiga OAKlouds versions 2 and 3 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute code through crafted files. The upload function accepts dangerous executable file types without enforcing a type restriction, then permits the uploaded content to run. No authentication is required; successful exploitation can execute arbitrary commands or interrupt the portal service.
