Code execution via out-of-bounds USD parsing
Published Mar 28, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Dimension 3.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted USD file. The USD file parser reads beyond the end of an allocated object when it processes crafted data, enabling execution in the current process. Exploitation requires the current user to open the malicious file, and resulting code runs with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
