Code execution via unvalidated SVG buffer read
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Stager 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted SVG file. The SVG parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated object. Execution occurs in the current user's context and requires the victim to visit a malicious page or open the file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
