Code execution via unchecked SVG buffer write
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Substance 3D Stager 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious SVG file. The SVG parser fails to validate attacker-controlled data bounds before writing past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and successful code runs in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
