Code execution via malicious file opening
Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper input validation in Adobe Illustrator 26.5.2 and earlier and 27.2.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected parser or the invalid file field that reaches an unsafe operation. Successful execution runs with the current user's privileges after a victim opens the file, enabling arbitrary actions in that security context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
