SSH key exposure via unvalidated name traversal
Published Mar 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025
Path traversal in Roxy-WI before 6.3.5.0 allows remote attackers to save an SSH key outside its intended directory. The SSH-key save path incorporates the attacker-controlled name parameter without neutralizing parent-directory sequences, so traversal segments escape the configured key directory. No authentication is required according to the CNA vector, and a crafted request can place sensitive key material in a location such as /tmp, exposing it to local access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
