Credential ID disclosure via unchecked list endpoints
Published Feb 15, 2023 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Missing authorization in Azure Credentials Plugin 253.v887e0f9e898b and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate Jenkins credential IDs. Several descriptor list-box HTTP endpoints populate credential choices under ACL.SYSTEM without first enforcing the caller's credential permissions. Overall/Read permission is sufficient; responses reveal identifiers rather than secret values, although Jenkins states that another flaw can use them to capture credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
