Cross-origin URI disclosure via uncensored CSP reports
Published Jun 2, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Information disclosure in Firefox before 110, Firefox ESR before 102.8, and Thunderbird before 102.8 allows remote attackers to read iframe URIs. CSP violation-report generation fails to reduce a cross-origin frame-src blocked-uri to its origin after an iframe navigation redirects, sending the full pre-redirect URI to the report endpoint. The victim page must be frameable and the user must interact with it; exposed query strings can contain OAuth codes or submitted form data.
