CVE-2023-25722

Credential disclosure via process command-line arguments

Published Mar 28, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025

Credential exposure in Veracode Jenkins Plugin before 23.3.19.0 and Azure DevOps Extension before 3.20.0 allows local users to read secrets. The integrations pass Veracode API credentials, and configured proxy credentials, as Java API Wrapper command-line arguments visible in process listings. Exploitation requires OS-level or shell access to a Jenkins remote or Azure DevOps infrastructure; it exposes credentials without altering data or interrupting service.
