CVE-2023-25721Network attack vector

Proxy credential disclosure via debug job logging

Published Mar 28, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025

Information disclosure in Veracode Scan Jenkins Plugin before 23.3.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to read proxy credentials from job logs. For remote-agent scans, the plugin places the proxy password in its -ppassword argument without the escaping needed to keep debug output from revealing the value. Exposure requires an authenticated proxy, Connect using proxy, global debug logging, a remote-agent job, and permission to view that job's log.
