Administrator-session script execution via unescaped page parameter
Published Jun 5, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Reflected XSS in AYS Pro Plugins Survey Maker before 3.4.7 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The wp-admin routes for the Survey Maker and survey-category pages place the page request parameter into HTML attributes without output escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open an attacker-controlled page that submits a crafted form to the affected site, allowing script to run with that administrator's browser privileges.
