Stored script execution via unsanitized admin settings
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in DIGITALBLUE Click to Call or Chat Buttons 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. Admin settings accept and store untrusted values without sufficient input sanitization, then render them without adequate output escaping. Administrative access is required, and exploitation is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; a visitor triggers the stored script by opening an affected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
