Process crash via null step-container dereference
Published Mar 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 19, 2025
Null pointer dereference in Google TensorFlow before 2.11.1 allows remote attackers to crash a process through TensorArrayConcatV2. GetTensorArray in tensor_array_ops.cc calls Lookup through ctx->step_container() without first checking whether the returned pointer is null. Exploitation requires an application to execute an attacker-influenced TensorArrayConcatV2 operation; the failure interrupts only the hosting process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
