Stored cross-site scripting in OpenEMR before 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The javascriptStringRemove function performs only one case-insensitive deletion of “javascript” from link-bound input, allowing nested instances to re-form the scheme. Exploitation requires high-privileged access to store the crafted link and user interaction to open it, exposing or altering browser-session data.
