Permission bypass in ZTE AndroidTV STB firmware allows local users to delete personal data and applications through a non-privileged app. Firmware permission settings expose functions reserved for signature- or privilege-level callers to ordinary applications, although ZTE does not identify the affected interface. A locally installed application can clear personal data and installed applications, disrupting operation without holding privileged permissions.
