CVE-2023-25643

Authenticated command execution via unvalidated network parameters

Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

Command injection in affected ZTE MC801A and MC801A1 firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. Multiple network-parameter values reach command execution without sufficient input validation, but ZTE has not disclosed the affected handlers or commands. Exploitation requires authentication and adjacent-network access to the router; successful injection permits complete control of its data and operation.
