Authenticated service interruption via TCP-port buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in ZTE MC801A and MC801A1 firmware allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted TCP-port value. The affected parameter-processing logic insufficiently validates the TCP-port value before placing it in a buffer, causing an out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires high-privilege access from an adjacent network, and ZTE reports denial of service rather than code execution.
