Form deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Contact Forms by Cimatti 1.5.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete forms through a forged request. The _accua_forms_form_edit_action function processes the form-edit action without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow or activate attacker-controlled content, and its reported consequence is deletion of stored forms.
